Pearls are traditionally strung on a silk thread. Even though this is extremely strong,
this can weaken or fray over time.
We offer professional restringing services to refresh your strand, whether you prefer
knotted or unknotted pearls. Knotted is the safer option to prevent loss if a thread breaks. Signs that your strand may need attention include fraying knots
or pearls slipping between the knots
For longevity, we recommend having your pearls checked at least once a year to ensure the silk remains strong and your strand stays wearable.

Insurance Appraisals

If you are interested in an appraisal, our professional appraiser will carefully clean, inspect and thoroughly evaluate your piece of jewelry in a timely manner.
In the event that you need to file an insurance claim, your appraisal will be used by your insurance company to determine the claim adjustment. Because gold and precious metals have increased significantly over the past decade, we recommend having your jewelry reappraised and properly insured at least every five years.
